Job Description
We are looking for a technically skilled SMT & Electronic Card Assembly Team Leader to head our SMD and circuit card assembly operations. You will be responsible for ensuring an efficient workflow, supervising a team of operators, and maintaining the highest quality standards. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the entire SMD process—from solder paste printing to reflow—and a commitment to IPC standards and ESD control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electronics or Mechatronics.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SMT/SMD assembly line operations.
- In-depth understanding of SMD processes, IPC standards, and production equipment.
- Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills for defect analysis and process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the SMD assembly line and manage daily operator performance.
- Oversee critical operations: solder paste printing, pick-and-place, and reflow.
- Monitor production quality through AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and visual checks.
- Coordinate with QA and the Production Manager on defect analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure all machines are calibrated and the team remains in full ESD control compliance.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on equipment safety.
