Job Description
We are seeking two dedicated Greenhouse Agriculture Specialists for a one-year full-time assignment. You will be responsible for providing the technical guidance and on-site supervision necessary to design, build, and establish high-productivity greenhouse facilities. This role requires a professional who is comfortable moving from structural blueprints to soil management, ensuring that every facility is durable, efficient, and meets international safety and agricultural standards.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in greenhouse construction and facility management.
- Practical knowledge of modern irrigation, fertigation, and greenhouse climate control systems.
- Experience supervising complex construction and agricultural projects.
- Strong hands-on, field-oriented approach with the ability to train project staff and farmers.
- Availability: Willing to work on-site for the full one-year project duration.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight for greenhouse design, including site selection, layout, and structural specifications.
- Supervise the physical installation of greenhouse structures and integrated irrigation systems.
- Guide the implementation of good greenhouse agronomic practices during the initial establishment phase.
- Train project staff and local farmers on daily greenhouse operations and routine maintenance.
- Ensure all construction and setup meet recommended agricultural productivity and safety standards.
- Monitor climate control infrastructure to ensure optimal growing conditions.
